1 Day Down.....

So, one exam down, two to go. And four days left in this school week.
I think today's exam went really well. I was definitely prepeared for it. Always a good feeling. That leaves a tough one on Wednesday night. I'm not even sure exactly what I'm supposed to study in our book. Yeah yeah- go me.

I'm feeling spread very thin right now. And I feel like no matter what I do, someone is never happy. Is this how it's going to be for the rest of my life? Like, is this what life is- one unsatisfied person after the other? I sure hope not.

Anyway, not much else going on. Doing a better job of staying on top of my game. The problem lately is that I have so much on my mind I actually forget stuff- like bringing stuff when I leave the house and things like that. I have to write lists for just about everythign I do! I mean lists everywhere. This is so uncharacteristic of me.

It's about 10 o'clock now. The plan for the night is to finally clean my room because it's gross and start studying for my corporate finance exam. Gonna get up again early to start my day. I'm getting used to waking up at like 8 AM. I like being out of the house early. I get to campus and get stuff done.

Think I'll go get started on cleaning my room.

P.S.-I'm publishing this post with my new Blogger widget, and it's super cool:)

Gross.

The junk food binge I just had has left me feeling gross.

I have 2 pages of my 12 page study guide memorized. I wonder how long this will take me. I'm scared right now. I can't receive another crappy grade like I did on my consumer behavior exam a week ago. I can't even believe I did so badly. That is so uncharacteristic of me. Well, I napped, and hopefully as a result I'll get a lot of studying in tonight.

I cannot wait to go to the Bahamas with my mom. In two weeks from today, I will be out partying it up.

My parents rock for surprising me with trip. They truly are wonderful people. I think they see this semester getting to me. I hope I don't fuck it up. Seriously. Six classes plus being the treasurer of the sorority is certainly taking its toll on me.

On a more positive note, I'm resolved to wake up tomorrow morning early and really start being a responsible human being again- something I have neglected for a while now. It's gonna take getting used to, but I know I can do it. I have to do it!

Anyways, I better go study more. I don't really have much more to say. I'll probably be back later though...

A Year Wiser....?

Here I am. 21 and smarter. Been seven months since I last updated this blogger. I intend to use this one more often, as my xanga is read by entirely way too many people, and I am unable to be truly sincere there.

Well, it's now my second semester as a junior. In an attempt to graduate on time, I'm currently taking 6 classes, and ready to pull my hair out as a result.

This semester is not going swimmingly. Not only do I have 6 classes, I am the treasurer of my sorority. Not sure what I was thinking. Another thing to add to the resume, I guess.

I used to be so on top of everything going on in my life. Like, really got things done. Now I go to sleep feeling defeated every night, and frustrated at the fact that there is so much left to the next day. I want to wake up and be accomplished.

I close my eyes. I have the sounds of the ocean playing on my Itunes. Don't think I'm one of those people, it's very relaxing.
As I said, my eyes are closed. I am brought back to the beach, St.Marten, December 27th, 2005. I'm sitting under an umbrella, the beach is quiet, listening to the water make its way back and forth, in and out. A Carib lager is in my hand. Life is wonderful I have not a care in the world. I can feel the sun on my feet as they stick out from under the protection of the umbrella. It's a comforting feeling. Knowing that there is nothing but ocean, soft sand, and and sun keeping me company as I remember why I love to be alive.

I'm never so much at home as I am when I am on the beach. I want to live in the Caribbean. I want to own a beach bar and have a wonderful husband and live a wonderful life, meeting tons of people and having great friends right where I live. I want to look out to sea every day, and know that life is amazing.

Writing this all, I can feel my hear getting heavier. I miss it so very much. My friends don't know me the way I am when I am home. How you can live there and come back north, it's beyond me. I'm doing a great job of it, but. I'm thinking of saving my money and just going somewhere. Just making friends when I get there to stay with. Taking risks, being rebellious of my parents.

Makes me think of Yusuf from South Africa. I should email him again and see whatever happened to him. I hope I'm not responsible.

Now I'm sitting on the deck of the ship as we pull out of St. Marten, the sun setting on the horizon. The deck is quiet now, and it's just me wrapped in my towel and listening to my music.

That is what life is all about. Those moments. I need to cherish them more.

Rambling

I'm sitting here, thinking a lot as I wait for my dad to be done with his conference call. Yes I am just that cool.
I'm ready for so much more. I feel like I am ready to be responsible. More so than I have been in 2 years of college. I better be ready. This year I am taking on the burden of paying bills and rent, and a babysitting job four times a week, plus probably some weekend babysitting jobs every now and then. That alone will make me really be responsible, I hope.

I don't really know how to explain what I'm feeling. I'm feeling like I'm very ready to have a meaningful relationship with a guy. I'm not talking marriage, just meaningful. Unlike anything I've had up to this point. Hell, I've never been on a real date in my life. I have to say, though, that things are looking up in this department. This guy, I think things will work out when we finally meet. While we have not officially met- as in we have not met in person- we learn more about each other every time we speak. He's a gentleman, and he's not a college guy- he calls when he says he will! Haha but seriously, I enjoy speaking to him, he makes me laugh, he's super nice, and he just seems like an all-around great guy. Unfortunately we won't be back in DC at the same time until September 5th, so I am counting down the days until then. I really think he could be a good thing for me. It's the type of thing I need- I won't see him every day, won't be able to talk to him all day, and I won't be able to expect these things from him. Which is the type of relationship I think I need. One where when we see each other it's real special and where he looks forward to seeing me and we go out and do things together.

I need to stop talking about this or it will never happen.

My self-control is getting much better. I lost it for the past 2 weeks but I'm back on top of it. Just need to get myself to start going to the gym again too. We're looking at a outlook-on-life-overhaul I think. Perhaps even becoming a little more feminine. But it had to happen eventually. I have to thank my mom and dad for not pushing me to be something I wasn't, because as a result I feel I am turning into a very classy woman. At least I like to think I am.

Back to DC a week from tomorrow. Classes begin in 17 days. Scary to think it's my junior year. That I've changed so much in 2 years. I hope college has the positive effect on my sister as it has had on me. I really hope she doesn't mess up down in Florida. Mom and dad are real worried. They say I was ready for college, and that she isn't. Needless to say, they will be keeping a tight eye on her this first semester.

Don't know what else to say. I'm ready to be back in DC. For life to begin again there.

What I want

Well it's not often I get myself sitting down, contemplating what it is I really want. But I think I have a pretty good idea of what I want.

(Let me pause here, as I have to find a song on Itunes that'll help me here as I write)

So, what is it that I want. I want to be understood. Let's focus here even more- what I want in a guy.

I want to be understood. I don't feel that there are many people who really do understand me. I think a lot of people- especially guys- find my personality very hard to crack exactly. I don't get worked up over school work, and I really never get stressed out. I find no point to it; if I need to get work done, I will get it done on time, and get it done well. Stress never helps me. However, this laid-back, go with the flow attitude is often perceived as laziness, and I get the distinct feeling that there is many a person at AU that thinks I don't work very hard. This isn't the case, it's just that most people never see me working, or don't know when I actually am working.

That's the thing; I think that in my "take life one day at a time" persona, people cannot handle me. How many people rush through this life, always worrying about school work or whatever it is they have to do?

That's not how I'm going to live my life. While I am completely aware what I need to do, and what needs to get done, I'm not going to kill myself over it all. The fact of the matter is that our lives are too short and too precious to constantly worry about class or what other people think of me.

That's another thing. The fact that I am so comfortable with myself; that I have no problem going out to a party in my polo and jeans while most girls are dressed to the nines; that I can talk to pretty much anyone; all this is often perceived as cockiness. But I'm not cocky. I'm just content with myself. Most people say it's confidence, ok sure, but to me confidence may be too much in my situation. I've heard that being so comfortable with oneself can make others intimidated. Whatever that means.

I'm not going to change. I know there's a time and a place to be dressed up. I don't find a frat party to be that time. I'm not gonna wear a minimal amount of clothing to try and attra

A Grand Scheme...so to speak?

Well I'm sitting here, listening to the rain fall, thinking over the past 2 weeks of being home. And I can't help but wonder- does everything really, truly happen for a reason?

I'm gonna take the time to sit here and really think through this. Four months I spend at AU during my spring 05 semester. And I want to do one thing- get back into better shape and lose the unnecessary weight I've acquired as a result of not being an athlete anymore- and I can't do it. I can't bring myself to cut the beer/alcohol, to eat better, to work out. 4 whole months. And then I come home, and I'm all revved up and all into the whole diet thing, and I lost 7 pounds in 6 days. This is in a 1.5 week span.

Or you spend 2 years in high school with a lot of people, but we're talking about one individual in particular at the moment. Now in that time you're never really good friends with this person; you know of one another, never hang out, you're friendly. Then, off to college, and one summer there's a kiss- the next, there's more. You don't see this person ALL year until you come home and out of boredom begin speaking to each other again. But you don't really know how/why you talk because you were never really close to begin with.

What makes these things happen? What was the big change in me to all of a sudden be motivated to lead a healthier life? What force in the universe happened, what planets shifted so that he and I got together?

I hope you see what I'm getting at. It's all so very random; the timing of it all. But is it, really? Maybe things happen, and happen when they do, all for a reason. Maybe I just wasn't ready for a lifestyle change during the semester. And while I don't have hardcore feelings for said boy, maybe it was just something that needed to happen.

I don't really know if any of this makes sense. It's all about waiting for the right moment. There is a time and place for everything it seems.

I'm not going the God route with this, if you have noticed. While I do believe there is a God up there, I'm not really completely sure if I believe He's the one behind this all.

It's all rather confusing. I'm sitting here, trying to figure it out, and not really getting anywhere. If this is true, what about being at the right place at the right time? I mean is it all by chance that the things that happen to us, do happen?

We do have some control, obviously. I mean I picked where I wanted to go to college- after they decided if they wanted me of course. I pick what I look like, how people view me, what I want to major in. Maybe there is some sort of pre-ordained design for all of us. But we can change it, finagle it the way we want to.

What about all those people out there who go for their "dream," and don't succeed? Is this because they were never really meant to do that?

I think I have to stop at this point. I don't feel like I'm making progress. It could be a moot subject.

It all begins...

I have big plans for myself this summer.
Lose 2 pants sizes.
Be happy with myself.
Grow up more.
Read a lot.
Write a lot.
Be utterly content with life.
I hope I can do it.
Lots to do tomorrow, the joys of getting back into the swing of NC life.
I'm a little bit obsessed. Kind of sad. Really need to work on the self image thing. How does one do it? It's so not fair. My sister is gorgeous. Put together amazingly. I'm just gross.
It all needs to change.

1 Day Down

One day spent back home. All good so far.
Lots on my mind. Citadel boy. What to do about that situation. More importantly, do I call?
Confused. Pleasantly.
People start coming home at the end of this week. It'll be interesting to see how everything pans out. I haven't spoken to most NC people since I left last summer. I wonder who I will talk to, who I will try to talk to, who will talk to me....
I kind of wish I had decided to stay in DC this summer. Could have been a lot of fun. But then again, I will make a killing being a Nike counselor again. Blah blah blah.
I miss having nothing to do with people. At home I have nothing to do, but no one to really sit around and do nothing with. Allie's still in school and both the parents work. What to do.
I need to start playing tennis again and start working out. Whenever I wake up tomorrow, off to the treadmill it is.
It would be cool if during the month I was home I had a way to go out and meet new people. Unfortunately the whole underage thing doesn't help my cause too much. I'll have to figure out a way.
I wish I had a shisha. I may have to go to NYC and get one. Maybe I'll go this week with Jenna or Stinky. I'll get Stinky to come down South.
Maybe a trip to Canadia...
I should do some travelling. Maybe I'll go back to DC for a couple days.
Well, off to think more.

2 years down...

That's it...2 years at AU done.
Grades good so far, waiting on 2 more. Sick of packing. Got about an hour left of packing before I'm done. All to unpack it all tomorrow back in CT.
All done living on campus. Can't deal with it anymore. Need my own room. Love my independence way too much. Come August our house is going to be amazing.
Learned so much this year, especially about people. More importantly, I learned about me. I know what I need- I need my space. I need just enough of people. I need me. And it's working well.
Looking forward to getting back on the tennis court. Need to get back in shape. Need to just feel better about myself in that way again.
A new friendship has bloomed, and Brandon and I are getting along as best as ever. As for the new friendship, he's becoming a good friend, but I don't know if lines have been drawn yet. There's a girlfriend that's being broken up with (not because of me) but it will be interesting to see what the future holds.
But in the end that's what it always comes down to, right? Seeing what the future holds.
For me, the summer holds 2 months of Nike Tennis Camp again with good people and a new addition of a good friend of mine from school here. Make a lot of money and have a lot of fun. I'm going back to CT tomorrow, then I'm bumming around and doing whatever until June 8th, when I head to Lawrenceville to open up the camp season. Then, when I'm done in August, it's back to DC to start putting my life together in my new house. Three great housemates, this will make for a great semester I think.
I guess that's it for now. No regrets again this year; it was a huge learning experience. I'm gonna miss a lot of people for sure.
I'll miss the nights at Prince Cafe. I'll miss the parties at Brandon's. I'll miss some of my sisters, my Big, my Little. I'll miss the dam Pi Kapps that I can't seem to get over. I'll miss my crazy ass roommate. I'll miss the relentless action that always gave me something to do.

Thanks for another awesome year, AU. I wouldn't have had it any other way.

Nothing Compares

It's April 10th. It's a good 70 degrees outside right now. I'm sitting in the quad, with some of my sisters and Laura, doing research for my international business project, and taking in the sun. There are people everywhere, and a game of cricket is going on by the library.
AU rocks. I mean where else would you find a game of cricket going on in the quad? It doesn't get any better than this. It should never be crappy out ever again.
And how am I expected to do work in this? Cause I have no idea.

Nothing really profound to say. Formal was amazing. Minus the whole thing were alcohol brings our my true emotions and a certain event from a couple of weeks ago finally got to me. But I'm overi t now. And my date was amazing for putting up with me, I owe him.

I heart my little. I really do. She's adorable.

Ok I'm hungry. Buhbye.

Closer and Closer

It was one of those days. One of those days where there was no way in hell she was going to sit inside other than for attending class. One of those days where she just sat in the quad all day taking in the amazing weather and just being happy to be alive and enjoy the amazing 80 degree day that has struck the District. One of those days where it didn't matter who sat with you and enjoyed the weather because it was so wonderfu out that you could enjoy it with whoever happened to come along and sit with you. But it was also one of those days where she couldn't help but feel the littlest twinge of sadness when she saw him. Just cause he looked so cute today in his khakis and shirt and boat shoes, and she remembered why she liked him in the first place, and for a while was upset at what had happened. And she doesn't know what to do with those feelings. And she wish she knew how he felt. And was still confused about what even happened in the first place. And with 2 weeks left in the semester, felt lost. Felt like she had made it so far, and yet, hadn't. Felt like it was all for nothing.
But it's still one of those days where she doesn't want to do any more work when she would. One of those days where she wonders what tomorrow holds. Just one of those days.

Three Weeks Of Class Left...

Holy crap. Three weeks left of class, then a couple of finals, and I am officially halfway through my undergraduate years here at AU. Where has the time gone...
Cause I don't know.
Tonight I'm numb to life. I have to be. I think it's the only way I'll get through tonight and keep my spirits high as the semester winds down. Wow. Wowwwww.
People are disappointing and getting to know some people changes everything you thought you knew. People are way too self motivated. Like whoa. Everyone needs to calm the f**k down.
I'm so, ugh. I don't even know where to start.
I have so much to do. Two papers. Two huge presentations. Two finals. I need to go to the gym more. I need to play more tennis. I need to feel better about myself again.
Buttttt I get to fly home soon and pick up my car which is like awesome. Becuase my car is so hot, and its name is The Dirty, and I'm gonna have it down here.
The plan is to stay in the dorms until I absolutely have to leave, which is May 7th, noon check out time. And I'll probably bum around DC for a couple of days until I have to be home to report for jury duty. And then I go to Lawrenceville to start another fabulous summer of Nike Tennis Camp on June 8th. I cannot wait.
But it's all going too fast. I don't wanna graduate. Ever. College rocks. Sometimes class sucks but whatever.
Wow. I'm not dealing well. Allie (my sister) sent in her deposit for housing to FIU this weekend. I'm old. AHHH....

And in no time, you'll be fine

I'll tell you you're right when you're wrong...and if only you could see into me....
Oh, when you're cold, I'll be there to hold you tight to me
Oh, when you're alone, I'll be there by your side baby....

Another night down. One day closer til the end of the semester.
One day farther away from the days of no responsibility.
One more paper down. One day closer to when more papers are due.
One more test taken. One day closer to a handful of tests yet to be taken.
One more Monday gone. One day closer to the weekend.
One more day where I lacked your presence. One more day closer to the truth.

No one said life would be easy. No one knows that better than me.
One day closer to understanding what it all really means.

You think I'd leave your side baby, you know me better than that
Think I'd leave you down when your down on your knees...I wouldn't do that.

Late nights are my thinking times. The best thoughts come after 1 AM.
One more 1 AM gone. One day closer to another 1 AM spent on some other thought.

Happy Easter...

It's been one of those reminiscing days. Not that I wanted to reminisce. Sophomore year of high school is not something I like to re-live.
That was quite a year in my life. That year undoubtedly set me on course to become the person that I am and the person I am becoming. Oh, horrible sophomore year. A year that I was so down about life I spent most of that school year depressed. Life as I knew it sucked. To me, there was no reason to live. Sleeping was all I did, and I would cry when I'd wake up, because my dreams were so great I never wanted to wake up. I was so low, I couldn't be any lower. Months of talking to a counselor finally sorted everything in my fucked up head out. It took a while, but in the end it was worth it.
At this point, if you're even still reading, you'd probably like to know what I walked away with. Call it a cliche, but life is too short to get crazy over any one thing. Say what you want, say that you know that, but until you've wanted to end your life, until nothing mattered anymore, until you couldn't control your life or your emotions, and frankly didn't give a shit to try and control either, you will never truly understand what I'm saying. But trust me, it's soo very true, I cannot push the issue home enough.
Let me go a little more in depth. Live life for yourself. Take it one day at a time. Tomorrow will come, no matter how much work you did today, no matter who you talked to, or what you ate. Smile as much as possible. Laugh as much as possible. Have fun whenever you can. Who cares what other people think or say about you? At the end of the day, what the other students at AU say or think about you will have no bearing on your life whatsoever. I will always be as goofy and have as much fun as I can in the quad or in the dorms, and as long as I'm not hurting anyone, I will not care what other people think, because what the kid down the hall says or thinks about me won't affect if I get into law school or become a sports agent.
Take risks. Try foods that you may not necessarily like. Talk to anyone and everyone. Sleep late. Forget to do something. Spend time with the ones who really mean something. You don't always have to go out of your way for people. There's about 5 or 6, 10 at the max, people in your life who are worth dropping everything for at any moment.
Sing out loud when you feel like it. Yell to people across the quad. Laugh out loud in class if your professor says something funny. Sit in the Tavern or TDR forever shooting the shit with people. The work will always be there. You have the rest of your life to spend hours upon hours on work. Go to bed knowing that you made the most of your day, no matter what that day held. Wake up knowing that at least 1 good thing will happen to you.
And, to end this lengthy entry, be yourself. Be happy for you and no one but you. In the end, you are #1. Twenty years from now, the fact that Joe Schmoe back at good old AU didn't pay you the attention you wanted, or Suzy Sorority didn't let you in her sorority because of what you looked like will not and should not matter.
This is your life. Yours and yours alone. We all have our own mission, what we want to get out of life. This life is precious. You only have one chance to do it right. Why constantly worry about the laundry list of things that you will always have to do, when you are surrounded by some amazing people?
I don't mean to sound self-righteous and holier than now. This is the stuff I try to live by everyday.
Don't take life too seriously, you'll never get out alive.
Just do what YOU want. Life YOUR life the way YOU want to live it. Because in the end, that's all you have. All you have is YOU. And if you can't even count on yourself, look inside and know that this life is yours for the taking, that the world is your oyster, then you need to learn how to live.
Happy Easter Everyone.

2:15 AM. Sunday the 27th...

Well, For some reason I decided to do homework tonight. Thus far I've knocked out Monday's lab report, and have made all my flashcards to study for Monday's Bio test. Woohoo. This is my break.
It was a trying week in the emotional end of my life, though I think at this point, I can say that my getting all emotional was uncalled for, probably not necessary. But sometimes it happens. We all have our weak moments. I had one on Thursday night. But it's over with, and life is normal.
We're getting into crunch time of the semester. Yuck. Everyone's getting a little more stressed, though I find no reason to be completely stressed. One day at a time, I'll get everything done that needs to be done. Hopefully this mentality will rub off on some of my friends and help them out a bit. Good luck to everyone anyway!
Definitely drank TOO much last night. Gonna take a couple of weeks off, maybe more. Like I said, one day at a time.

"Oh, when you're cold, I'll be there to hold you tight to me." This song explains me big time.

I wish I knew what was going on. I wish I could read him. And I can't at all. Isn't it always funny how you may have the ability to read people like a book, but when it comes to someone you have more-than-friend feelings for, you're completely lost? That's me. I can figure anybody out relatively easily and quickly. Not this one.

At the same time, everyone around me is happy. People seem to be pretty happy. And that makes me happy. Because we all know I get upset and take it personally when people aren't happy. I need to stop that horrible habit, by the way. Hmm, I wonder if my suitemates are asleep, I want to take a shower. I like showering this late. Makes me feel good before going to sleep. But who knows when that will be since I slept most of the day. Need to stop that horrible habit too.

Well now I'm rambling. But it's a journal, I suppose I'm allowed to ramble...

"Always Better When We're Together..."

Just another day passing by. Another day in which I'm just content. For the most part. One thing is still bothering the heck out of me. And it's no one in particular. The war wages on inside my head, me against me.
I played tennis outside for an hour yesterday. And today's blood blisters and severe pain in muscles I haven't used in a while is so very worth it. I miss it so much. I'm actually going to start practicing with the team. She needs more people for the girls to hit with. May as well bring back someone who was on the team to hit. It'll be funny if I can take some of them...gonna take me a couple more days to get back into the real swing of things on the court- no pun intended.
My accounting test raped me tonight. Guess I couldn't keep on getting good grades ALL semester. Everyone thought it sucked. So glad to know that my 5 hours of studying didn't seem to help much...ehh, there's always one.
Easter weekend. Dad's turning 47. Crazy. I'm staying here, but unlike last Easter, my family's not coming here. I'm thinking about doing brunch here for some of my friends. Or we'll go out. Should be a relaxing weekend.
Need to turn out some baby papers before the big ones creep up on me. Need to get back in hard core work mode. Of course not tonight though.
I really love my friends here at AU. I really am the person I am because of my sisters and my close friends. And next year, I'm living with 3 of my sisters, and we're going to have an AMAZING time. I'm even living in the same room, how cool am I?
Well, time to sleep I think. Long day looming tomorrow, may join the girls in practice tomorrow...

St. Patrick's Day

Happy St. Patrick's Day! Long time since I wrote. Not that anyone reads this. At least, I don't think anyone does.
Spring break was nice. Ended up spending the entire week in Connnecticut after my dad convinced me to stay while we were halfway to the airport. It was good to spend time with my parents and sister, and it gave me time to get my head together. Things were a little out of sorts upstairs before I left for home. All is better now.
One month tomorrow. That's a long time for me. Probably the longest relationship I've ever had. Things just really do get better between us, it's a good feeling to have for a change. Just gotta go with it, like anything else.
School, is, well school. Still receiving, to my shock, good grades. Though I have managed to be on top of work this week, it's time for me to start really focusing more energy into this last leg of the semester. Easier said than done for me, as always.
Initiation is tomorrow night, and I'm so proud of my little. I'm looking forward to tomorrow night and seeing her finally become one in our Bond of sisterhood. She is an amazing woman, and I'm so proud that I get to say she's my little sister.
So yeah, you could say that all is real well in my little world. Cause for the most part, it really is.
But the weather's getting nicer and nicer with each day that passes, and I'm getting the tennis jones REAL bad. So I'm gonna start hitting with some girls from the team to get back in shape and get to play. I miss it a lot. Funny, because last semester I had NO desire to pick up a racquet. Now, I have my racquets out and have been working on regripping them. This summer's gonna be awesome, being on the court every day ALL summer.
All that leaves is some personal battles to fight. And I will win this one.

Until next time...

Almost there...

2 more days of class until the God-send that is spring break! So needed. Need to relax and sleep and talk the parents into paying for a massage. My mom doesn't know I'm coming home, it's gonna be a surprise when she sees me show up at the house....good times.
So my little and I are sitting here. I don't feel like studying Spanish, though I should be studying since I have a test tomorrow. But it's gonna be easy, at least it should be easy. Who knows. I need a good grade though.
So, Tuesday turned into Luau in our room. We started drinking around 3, and didn't finish til about 10. And it was so much fun. We had visitors, we danced, we cleaned, we ate. It was awesome. We're thinking that more Tuesdays are going to turn into that.
So things are still going well in that department. Hanging out a lot, and neither of us leaves for break til the weekend so I'm hoping that we'll hang out some on Friday night since we won't see each other for a week. That's what I'd like, at least. We'll see.
I think he thinks that I get upset because he always has work to do. But in reality, it doesn't bother me at all. As a matter of fact, I wish I could be that dedicated. I was for a while, hopefully after Spring Break I'll be motivated again. I guess I'm just afraid that him thinking this will make things murky. And I don't want that. At all. Because I really like him, busy or not.
Only me and my little would be excited about the fact that the computer was letting us use our fingers like a pen. We're that cool.
But now we're both tired.
Nothing more profound to say. I know that during class earlier I had some good things in my head. That's why I need a journal that I'm able to carry around and write whenever things pop into my head. At least I have the creative juices flowing once more.
Well, I think I'll wrap it up.

Past the point of no return, no backwards glances...our games of make believe are at an end....

3:05 AM

Yes, at 3:05 AM I'm feeling inspired. I want to write more. I want to sketch DC. I want to live more. See it all. See DC. Write what I feel. I used to. Need to do that more. Makes life that much better.
The plan is to invest in a new sketchbook and a new journal that I am able to carry everywhere, and unlike the one I have now, actually write in. Stupid lefty shit.
I used to write everything I felt. Funny quotes. Life. Now, nothing. I vent. No fun.

What does one do when told not to worry when one knows something is going on...I trust him, and yet, for once, things are going my way, and life is too good....

Just Another Day in The District...

Another Monday gone. That leaves 4 days until a well deserved Spring Break.
I've decided to go home for a couple of days. Between being able to get some stuff done at home, visit old teachers, maybe even play some tennis, it'll be nice to get awa for a bit. Plus, they're turning off the power in the dorms all of Sunday. Being home is always a plus.
I had my bio test today, tougher than I expected. No doubt I passed, but I don't think I'll have another A- like last test. Oh well, can't win em all. My retribution for not going to class. Bad me. No more drunken bio classes. Yeah, that's probably a lie.
I got him to talk dirty tonight. And he, well we are becoming more public about our affection. This one day at a time stuff is paying off big time lately.
But I broke my oath tonight and ate McDonalds. But I got to spend time with a new friend of mine, and he's awesome. I feel like every week I get closer with someone new, it's great meeting so many people here.
There's this other one. Something's going on. I think it's the whole once you have someone in your life, others become more attracted to you. That whole "I'm taken" confidence. He doesn't know yet what's going on. But he's been coming around more often and it's interesting when he's around. Too bad for him. He missed his chance big time.
Ugh I need to go to the gym tomorrow. Now I'm rambling. Surry.
Life is just so good right now. Even though I have 2 tests at the end of the week.
But, like I said, 4 days....
