What the hell....

Do I have the right to be mad? Cause I'm not sure if I do. Because I'm pretty sure I should have been invited Friday night. And I wasn't. And I'm sure my little would have been allowed to come. But they get invited, both of them, no, the three of them, and I am not asked. And coming from people who always call me to find out what's going on or want to go out with me this gets to me a little bit. I always ask them to go out or what not but they can't ask me?!?!
I think this all just plays into a bigger problem that plauges me sometimes. I think I let people walk all over me too much sometimes. It's like I owe them all something but they can never return the favor. And I don't think I deserve that. I don't think I'm an AMAZING person, but I consider myself pretty dam nice and selfless 99% of the time. And this is how I'm repaid. And sometime (in this case) by sisters as well.
What do I do? Right now I don't feel like talking to them. I feel that if I tell them I'm upset about their actions on Friday night they'll take it the wrong way and I'll look like a baby. They won't think it's a big deal. So I'm just gonna be a pain and not talk to them for a bit and just get over it. And pay them all the favor back and see how they like it.
Despite people and their attempts at filling some void in their lives I had a great weekend. (This is becoming a pattern). Friday night was Revelation at the Lincoln Memorial. It was a beautiful night, and I finally got my Little, and I love her, and she loves me. So, to celebrate, we had our victory rum and cokes and went to Guapo's to dance the night away. Then I came back and Eddy came over and we cuddled and it was great. I spent all of Saturday watching TV in pain because of my sinuses but it rocked just to sit in bed all day and do nothing.
Of course I'm left with about 3 loads of laundry and a Bio test to study for today. BUT we're supposed to get 8-10 inches of snow starting tonight, so hopefully AU will FINALLY give us the snow day we all deserve and need desperately.
Other than that, 5 days until Spring Break! Yeah, I'll be here, but I got stuff to do. But many people, especially one will be very missed. But I need the week off badly.

And to end, I found a blogger I had begun in 2002. Yeah, my junior year of high school. Scary to think I'm almost done with my sophomore year of college...It all goes too fast.

"I will go with you..."

Sometimes you have to stop and think.
And you have to realize that, in the end, good things happen to those who wait.
I'm a prime example of this. Good things are indeed happening to me right now. And I'm so thankful and so happy.
My bonds of sisterhood grow stronger and tighter every day. My sisters keep me sane, keep me happy, keep me laughing, prevent me from hurting others, they do it all. Joining Phi Mu has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. Of course, I have my amazing Big to thank for this, cause she roped me in. I love her so much.
And, for once, things are going my way in the love department. Who would have thought? Everyday it gets better and better, and I'm happy I didn't let petty things mess things up with this one. I'll admit it, I have been swayed by stupid, petty things in the past, but not anymore. He is great, and I look forward to see where it goes.
School is school. My grades are doing surprisingly well. Well, I have to see how "understanding mass media" is going. But, yeah, I got time and projects to secure that one.
So, I'm 90% happy with myself right now. One cannot totally be happy with oneself, because if I were, then I wouldn't hard and what not to make me and everything around me better. There's a couple of areas I'm lacking in, but I'm getting on my arse about it. I could use some help, anyone want to be my gym buddy??
This is sure to be an unreal weekend. Friday is Revelation, and our new girls get to meet their Bigs....
The roomie is out of town, which means I have the room to myself, which means....
It's going to be a great weekend. I'll make it so.
One more day of class to live through. Friday I have a "Career In Sports" Forum 10-3 which should be real interesting and fun for me, since I want to be a sports agent. So, technically my weekend begins tomorrow night after my 8:10 is over.
Until then, one day at a time...

...Or Lack Thereof

I didn't go to class today. Then again, I didn't fall asleep finally until 9 a.m, and then slept til 2:30. Despite not attending my 2 classes today, I got a lot done in the way of my little yet oh-so-important things. I still have more to do, but that's for tomorrow.
I'm actually planning on spending the better part of my Friday and Saturday doing work to get ahead on everything that I have due next week, with the excitement of Big-Little week being next week. So the more I get done, the less I will have to stress about next week. Smart like that, what can I say.
However, I need to work on some self-control issues. And getting my fatass to the gym everyday. This week I was just bad. I wasn't very on top of my work and life for that matter. It needs to go back to normal next week. Can't keep being like this, I miss being an athlete and being in better shape than I am now.
Dad's gonna be in the District on Monday, always good to see him and spend some time with him.
I really want to sleep, and of course I can't. Gonna try the Nyquil....

Hmm...

Well then. It's nice to have someone be there for you. More than one person tonight for me actually. My Big is the best. She really is. She really has no idea how much she helps me out.
And there's this new guy. I like him. And I think he likes me too. But I don't want to jump to conclusion, or make something out of nothing. So let's say I'm "taking it slow." Hopefully it all works out.
There's just something about him. He's so sweet, and super nice. And I just have a good time when I'm with him. Ok I'm shutting up about that.
The next week and a half is going to be trying, but it's all SO worth it. And by next Friday, oh man, it's gonna be awesome. I can't go into details, but yeah, soooo worth it. Except for the Biology paper that I don't wanna write at all. Four pages double spaced isn't too bad, but I have to do research for it. I dislike researching stuff, especially something that isn't my major. But it's got to be done. And I have an A in biology so far this semester, so I have to keep it up.
I'm actually doing real well in all my classes so far, surprisingly. But I've been slacking off as of late, and I need to pick it up again.
Isaiah called me invisible today, and to an extent he's right. If I'm not doing something for something in my life, or doing homework, I'm usually spending time on my own or with some of my closer friends and sisters. My dad told me that only a couple of people will stick around, and I don't have to appease the masses. And I'm living this advice. I'm not getting involved with everyone anymore. Yes, I still have tons of friends, but only a handful get complete attention from me. And this semester is going awesome as a result. My dad is a smart, smart man.
I enjoy my talks with Isaiah. Our talk going at the moment is about how to pick up girls/guys at parties, since we're both apparently bad at it. I don't know how I'd live without Isaiah. He is amazing. Sees life as it is. I need more people like that in my life.

Another Day in The District

Umm. Well, not much time before I'm off to accounting, but I had to put something.
Call me whatever for having 2 journals online, but people got a little crazy with my Xanga account. So I'm using this now.
We'll see how this goes. How people react to this one. The plan is for people who take life too seriously NOT to see this and start texting me about my apparent immaturity level.
I'll have to investigate blogger more later.....
